Thank you for putting this piece out and suggesting a more serious look at Web3. Had a thought specifically on a challenge for the reversal of brain-drain. Eventually, the 35% below 30 will need to visualise an aspirational location within the nation which provide them with (a) their desired quality of life (b) attractiveness for appropriate international talent and capital. We should consider leveraging the borderless nature of Web3 to invite investments to build the necessary infrastructure: Modern self-sufficient environment-neutral micro-settlements than bring together elements of India and the world to catalyse productivity and spur innovation. To unlock and hopefully exceed our desired pace of growth, we will need venues of convergence beyond Bangalore and Hyderabad. Web3, by design, has the power to construct very specialised settlements that complement global technological pursuits. Personally, have a few rad locations in mind

Very well written and insightful. You rightly mentioned that India has to progress from service based economy to product economy. We have some of the best engineers and executives who have greatly contributed to Internet giants. We need to capitalise on Indian brain power and evolving web3 opportunity. India’s digital payment infra is far ahead of many other countries, web3 + payments could be a great opportunity to build a mass use case and a globally replicable platform. Definitely a government’s will is required.
